These drawings are part of an ongoing series I’ve been doing since 2020. Inspired by the pandemic lockdown, I wanted to reframe the loneliness of isolation as pleasant solitude by having these women enjoying their own company. Six of my drawings were chosen for the cover of PublicDisplay.Art for their September 2022 issue.

Because the event was taking place at the Olympic Flight Museum they wanted the illustration to reference aviation history while also highlighting the theme of the event.

Georgetown famously has a vendor mall made up of trailers, so in the spirit of spring I turned them into Easter eggs.

This month featured a drag show at the event so I put a drag twist on Warhol's Marilyn series.

Created just before we knew lockdown would be much longer than anticipated and that this artwalk would be canceled. I combined Gustave Caillebotte’s painting “Paris Street; Rainy Day” with my own photo of a Georgetown street to create an illustration that evokes the neighborhood, the artwalk, and the time of year.
