Concept Art

I created concept art and 2D texture art for the PlayStation VR exclusive GOLEM by Highwire Games. In the game the images I drew appear as part of a bedroom environment which the player explores. I worked closely with the Art Director who needed images to support the narrative of one of the main characters, leaving plot-driven clues to direct the player. The sketches can be seen in context in the screenshots below.


Logo

Golem's existing logo was a raster image with a heavy stone background. I created an updated version in vector format so it could be scaled from box-art up to large convention banners. We kept the letterforms and the basic decoration from the stone but made it more lightweight so it would pop against multiple backgrounds and textures.

Echoes of the Last Dreamer

Another of my drawings appears on the Kickstarter campaign and promotional materials for the musical prequel to Golem, Echoes of the First Dreamer, by composer Marty O'Donnell. I was so excited when I saw the model for this doll created by Travis Brady. I immediately fell in love with her and couldn't wait to start drawing.  Like the drawings in-game the final piece was meant to have a sketchy, handmade look and to match the aesthetics of the game.
